Welcome to Ferrari Metals

Arie Tremblay founded Ferrari Metals in 2006 and named the company after his wife, Vanesa Ferrari. Since then, the company has designed, fabricated and supplied custom agricultural hoop-house systems for commercial growers.

Ferrari Metals plans each structure around the crop, site, row layout, tunnel dimensions and covering requirements. Its work includes in-house engineering, custom fabrication, onsite arch bending, project materials and delivery coordination.

Engineering & Fabrication

Designed In-House. Prepared for the Field.

Ferrari Metals develops each hoop-house system around the project requirements rather than a fixed kit. In-house mechanical engineers prepare project and installation drawings, and the steel components are prepared for the dimensions and layout shown in those drawings.

Project-Specific Drawings

Crop rows, tunnel dimensions, arch geometry, covering requirements, bracing and field assembly are translated into project drawings and a bill of materials.

Fabricated for the Job

Platforms and legs are robotically welded. Supports, braces, bands and other steel components are prepared for the specified structure. Steel goods are produced to applicable ASTM standards, with mill certificates and certificates of conformance available on request.

Equipment Developed In-House

Ferrari Metals designs, builds and maintains its own production and field equipment, including the patented machine used to form hoop-house arches on site.

Ferrari Metals Coordinates the Field Installation

We organize the work around the farm's tractors and a local installation crew. Ferrari Metals provides the project drawings, augers, on-site bending equipment and tools for installing the film, then coordinates the crew through each stage of the build.

  1. Set the Platforms

Ferrari Metals provides the augers and installation layout. The farm's tractor operators and local crew set the platform assemblies at the specified spacing.

  2. Bend and Assemble the Arches

The patented bending machine forms the arches on site to the project dimensions. Ferrari Metals manages the sequence as the local crew places the arches and assembles the frame.

  3. Install the Covering

Ferrari Metals provides the greenhouse film and installation tools, then coordinates the crew as the film is positioned, tensioned and secured.
